This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to the client's needs as well as being pro-active in providing the important information needed to make the right decisions. What Clients Are Saying
"To whom it may concern: I am delighted to provide this letter of reference for John Colannino as a licensed real estate broker. John handled the sale of a woodlot in Maine for me. As I had inherited the property I did not know much about it, including how to access it properly, but John handled everything in a manner that was efficient and painless for me. He scouted it and set a proper price, as judged by the assortment of bids that he was able to attract, including one full price offer. Throughout the process he kept me informed and answered all of my questions quickly and accurately. He could not have been more helpful. I think there are several types of real estate agents. Some try to make the quickest sale with the least effort, while others see their role as an advisor and advocate for their clients. John is in the latter category. He sees the big picture and builds relationships with his clients rather than going for quick sales. He strives for excellence and quality rather than the quick and easy. He listened to all of my concerns and provided proper pushback or perspective when needed. Even after the sale, John has been a huge resource to me. When I needed help getting a forester to do a small job for me on another property, John connected me with the foresters in his company. But beyond that, and this is typical of him, he got involved as an advocate for me to urge them to help me out. There is no doubt he would help me with whatever I might ask of him in the future. I would give John the highest possible rating. If the reader should require any further information, feel free to contact me at : fmboyce@partners.org. Sincerely, Rick Boyce"

"I have worked with John Colannino for almost a year now and can state with certainty that he is the most hard working and honest broker I have ever worked with. He found the kind of property I was looking for, pushed through the acquisition, followed up on all issues. He helped me find all the professionals; he even marked trails so we could access the sites. I have invested in real estate for 30 years and have never worked with someone who went so far beyond the normal scope of work. He becomes a teammate. I can’t thank him enough. Gene Lefevre"

""John is an excellent agent and partner to help in finding your land and/or home. He is swift to respond and provides excellent insight and advice to areas you may not have in mind when going into the process. We were looking for a property with a large amount of land, and his understanding of forestry was an enormous asset when assessing the land and the possibilities that it can provide. I highly recommend John!" Thanks so much! - Alex "
