I was raised in rural Montgomery County, NC which is where I developed my love for the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and roaming the Uwharries as a young boy, I gained an appreciation for nature. This is what led me into the field of forestry. In 2002 I obtained my bachelor’s in Forest management from NC State university. Since then I have worked a brief time in the forest industry buying timber for a local sawmill. I have been with American Forest Management for 12 years now working as a consulting forester, managing timberland for small non-industrial Forest landowners. This is where I found my true passion, working with landowners to help them achieve success in managing their land. I bring that experience now to AFM Real Estate and look forward to many more relationships and successes with landowners in the future. I am a registered forester in both NC and SC.
